According to the U.S. Census Bureau, e-commerce sales during the fourth quarter increased 14.7% year over year to $89.1 billion. This also represents a 2.1% increase over the third quarter of 2015. Full-year e-commerce sales increased 14.6% year over year to $341.7 billion. In 2015, e-commerce sales accounted for 7.3% of all retail sales, up from 6.4% in 2014.
